Summer is fast approaching and as the kids grow quickly you’ll need some cute summer clothes for them. Today I am covering some super cute Summer 2019 fashion trends for preschoolers.
I’ve looked at my two favorite kids clothing stores Janie and Jack and Target. Both have loads of cute outfits for kids.
There are loads of different ways to shop for kids clothes but one of my favorite ways is online. L hasn’t been behaving well in stores lately so we try to limit the amount of time he gets in a store so as not to annoy the other shoppers.
Shopping for kids clothes at home can be quick and easy without dealing with the “I want it,” struggle. Plus will the stores care everything that they show online? You never have to worry about showing up to a store and not finding what you want.
Cutest Summer Trends For Preschoolers
Today though we are focusing on the cutest summer trends for preschoolers. I’m seeing a lot of orange, coral, sky blue and pink this season.
The color combinations are bold and happy. While preppy looks are dominating boys style, the girls are getting a breezy bohemian look that is just adorable.
Let’s dive in and check out our styles.
For the boys we have a classic 90’s prep mixed with bright colors and cute plaids.
The 90s prep is making a comeback in a big way for boys this year. Lots of twill, khaki, and plaid are dominating the boys sections of our favorite stores.
I love the oxford shorts paired with the t-shirt here. It gives the classic preppy style a casual look.
This classic casual look is great for preschoolers. The striped polo and jeans work great as a 4th of july outfit to go check out fireworks. Add a red baseball hat and the look is complete.
Bright twill shorts paired with a plaid shirt can go from daytime fun at the park to a family event later in the day. Roll up the sleeves to keep your kid cool while providing a bit of warmth on cooler summer nights.
While I wouldn’t send my kid out to play in this due to the white pants, this is a great look for Sunday brunch or a family event.
There is nothing cuter than a preschooler in a bow tie, plus bowties are totally cool.
For a super casual everyday look you cannot go wrong with plaid shorts and a polo shirt.
For the girls there are some preppy looks but mostly sticking to a light boho style throughout the outfits.
The wide leg pants are super cute and perfectly paired with a casual t-shirt. Tuck in the front of the shirt to show off the belt but leave the back untucked for a super cute casual look.
This pretty jumper is perfect for Sunday brunch or an event with the family. It’s casual and comfortable for your kid but dressed up with a simple black embroidery on the pant legs.
Houndstooth has made a comeback and I love the updated style in this dress. It’s cute and bright.
I love the pairing of a long tulle skirt with a t-shirt. I wish I had a daughter because she’d have multiple versions of this outfit. It’s casual and cute all in one.
This is a great way to keep your daughter cool on hot summer days without sacrificing style. The boho look paired tied sleeves on the t-shirt is just too cute.
I never would have thought to pair peach and pink but this is just too cute. Using the two shades of pink helps the peach blend in well.
Taking sunshine and rainbows to a whole new level the pretty patches on the knees are adorable. It’s a great casual outfit for a day at the park.
