The one thing that never stresses me out about the holidays is the food. It’s basically all my favorite comfort food for two whole months. My waistline doesn’t like it, and my jeans start swearing at me by January 2nd, but I’m ok with being fat and happy.
Christmas Party Tips
When throwing a holiday or Christmas party there are a few helpful tips you need to know.
First, whatever can be made a day or two before the party, should be made. Even prepping food the day before can make the day of cooking less stressful.
Cut up your potatoes, cook, cover them and stick them in the fridge the night before. Then it just takes a quick boil to heat them back up so you can mash them into creamy mashed potatoes.
Bake your desserts a day or two before as well. Prep your appetizers the day before so all you have to do is bake them the day of.
Use your Instant Pot to make preparing side dishes easy. Use your slow cooker to keep dips and meatballs warm.
