If you are a snackaholic like me you may want to look into the energy balls I have featured below. Energy balls make the perfect snack because they are usually jam packed with fiber and protein. It’s a great mid afternoon snack to boost your energy and cure the munchies.

I have a major problem with getting so wrapped up in my work that I actually forget to eat. I sit down at my computer in the morning with my coffee and before I know it it’s 1pm in the afternoon and I haven’t eaten a single thing.

Oatmeal balls work really well for me in the morning – when I’m not hungry – and in the afternoon when I need a bit of extra energy to finish out my day. If you are like me and forget to eat breakfast in the morning, I highly suggest picking a few of the recipes below and making them.

Energy Ball Recipes

Energy ball recipes are generally some of the easiest homemade snack recipes to make. They are quick, take just a few ingredients, and can be made in large batches to last all week long.

They are a great snack idea for your children too. Some of these recipes include peanut butter, as always be careful not to share them with anyone who may have peanut allergies though.

Energy balls are a healthy snack that might cure a sweet tooth while not adding loads of extra calories to your daily intake. They make a great healthy choice for breakfast too. Finally, they are super easy to make so you can make one batch and have it last all week long.
