Smoothies are fantastic no matter what time of year. I personally love to drink smoothies as a meal replacement for those super busy days. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite smoothie recipes.
I have done smoothies with both fresh and frozen fruits. Just make sure you have a really great blender like this one if you plan on making smoothies a lot.
Smoothies make great breakfasts, easy lunches, and even snacks with the kids. Lucas, my toddler, is a picky eater so the only way I can make sure he gets enough fruits and vegetables in his diet is to sneak them into a smoothie.

Smoothies are a fantastic way to squeeze in extra servings of fruit and vegetables. Additionally, they can absolutely help that mid day slump when used as an afternoon snack. Just make sure you have a powerful blender to really pulverize the ingredients for a smooth drink.
