Grilling season has arrived! Rejoice for juicy steaks, praise mesquite, breathe in the smoky scents of lighting up your grill for the first time this season. I have gathered the best of the best when it comes to grilling. Grab a glass of water cause these best grill recipes are going to leave you salivating.
If you couldn’t tell by the first paragraph I absolutely love grilling season. For the past 4 summers I haven’t had a grill available to me due to apartment living. This summer though I have a gorgeous back porch so I intend to be grilling up a storm. These are some of the highest rated grills you can find.
Now some people believe you should hand wash your grill every time you use it. I do not, I prefer the burn off method. It’s like my cast iron skillet you want your grill to have flavor.
I’ll wash my grill at the beginning and the end of the season. Throughout the season though I just burn off and do a light scrub with my grilling tools. I personally believe food tastes better on a grill this way.
While there are absolute benefits to using a propane grill I am a die hard charcoal fan. Charcoal for life. Add some mesquite chips or hickory chips that were soaked in water and be prepared for the tastiest meat you have ever tasted.
Alright now that I’m all sorts of excited to fire up the grill let’s dive into the best grill recipes.

There is one recipe that I am looking forward to throwing on the grill again. You may know it as campfire cobbler but it can work on the grill too.
Take any pie filling of your choice and put it in a metal pan. Pour dry yellow cake mix over the pie filling. Cut up one stick of butter and place slices over top of the yellow cake mix. Cover with foil and put on a hot grill for 10-15 minutes.
It’s an amazing dessert that is incredibly easy to make. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream with each serving.
If your grill is older and you need a new one these are the best I found.
