Ladies, I don’t know about you but the holidays are a pretty stressful time for me. Men, if you are reading this take some notes. The holidays are the absolute perfect time to treat yourself or your main squeeze to a spa day. So I’ve put together a list of must have spa day gifts for you to give to yourself or your significant other.
Winter can be brutal in the northern states. The wind and cold hurts your face. Even the wind feels like it cuts through you and chills your bones. Sometimes I get so cold the only way to warm up is with a hot bath or shower.
This doesn’t even mention what happens mentally as the days grow shorter and the sun hides behind grey clouds. I find that a couple hours pampering myself once every couple of weeks does a lot for lifting my mood and relieving stress.
So if you are looking to spoil yourself here are some of the best must have products to do so. Additionally, they don’t cost an arm and a leg.
This cleansing brush is a great way to clean your face thoroughly in prep for your favorite mask or moisturizer. You can use it with just water or your favorite face wash. Additionally, it’s safe to use in the shower for everyday cleansing too.
No spa day is complete without a plush shower wrap. After a hot soak in the tub wrap yourself with this shower wrap and apply masks and lotions to your skin.
I’m a huge fan of the bath and body works aromatherapy collection. My two favorites are this stress relief and their vanilla lavender sleep collection.
Sweater Weather is a great wintery scent. If you aren’t into aromatherapy candles these will still fill your bathroom with a wonderful scent.
This is another personal favorite scent of mine from Bath and Body Works. Warm Vanilla Sugar is relaxing and romantic. If you or your significant other loves the smell of vanilla this is a great choice in scents.
If you work on your feet all day or even if you just want to watch some TV and relax after a long day this foot spa is perfect. Warm up cold feet and give yourself a pedicure while watching Netflix.
This lotion is no joke, you put it on your hands, arms, and shoulders before bed and within 30 minutes you are sound asleep. I’ve been using this lotion for years and whenever I run out or try something new it takes me forever to fall asleep.
We all need a headband to keep our hair back when applying masks. This headband is great for doing exactly that. Apply your masks, lotions, or just keep hair out of your face while you soak for awhile.
When I was younger I used to do weekly face steams with a pot of hot water over the stove. It was dangerous but I felt it was such a great way to open pores and clean them out. It was also great for when I had a cold because it helped clear out my sinuses.
Now all I need is this facial steamer. It’s safer and you can set it up in a comfortable spot instead of standing right over a stove with hot water.
My parents recently got an essential oil diffuser and while I was visiting them a couple weeks ago I got to see how it works. While I seriously wasn’t a big fan of these at first after seeing how they work I’m probably going to get one myself. It makes the whole house smell fantastic and it’s a lot safer than burning candles all day.
I love Himalayan Salt Body Scrubs. They exfoliate your skin leaving it feel soft. Apply the scrub after your bath and rinse off in the shower. Step out, spread lotion all over, and enjoy soft smooth skin for days.
If you still don’t know what to get yourself or your significant other, this spa gift set covers it all. You get a refreshing cucumber scent in the products. You also get all your normal spa products such a loofahs and a massage comb.
No matter if it’s for you or for your significant other these spa day gifts will help you relax and unwind right in the comfort of your own home.
May you have happy relaxation on your spa day. For more posts like this follow me on Pinterest and be sure to pin this to your favorite beauty or self care boards.
